Keith Haring Last Supper

Death NYC

2013

ENG EST

Death NYC is an anonymous New York street artist. Her art often features the ominous word DEATH, which is an acronym: Don't Easily Abandon The Hope. Her work is full of familiar pop culture symbols and she boldly uses the motifs of famous artists. Through humor, Death NYC's works mock the culture of idolization that the media feeds. Edward Munch's The Scream and Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup Can came together in the third hall of the PoCo Museum. In the last hall, Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper and Keith Haring's well-known motif - the dog - meet.
Death NYC on anonüümne New Yorgi tänavakunstnik. Death NYC teosed pilkavad läbi huumori idoliseerimise kultuuri, mida meedia toidab. PoCo muuseumi kolmandas saalis said kokku Edward Munchi “Karje” ja Andy Warholi “Campbelli supipurk”. Viimases saalis kohtuvad Leonardo da Vinci “Püha õhtusöömaaeg” ja Keith Haringu tuntud motiiv - koer.
