ENG EST

Marco Lodola (b 1955) is an Italian artist. In his works, he uses iconic themes such as lovers dancing or riding a Vespa and musical characters. By this he refers to the mass media. His light sculptures have gained popularity. The French high fashion brand Dior collaborated with Lodola, and 400 boutiques around the world received windows decorated with the artist's light sculptures. Jim Morrison, the singer of The Doors is depicted in this artwork, and The Beatles and David Bowie have also been featured in his artworks.
Marco Lodola (s 1955) on Itaalia kunstnik. Oma teostes kasutab ta ikoonilisi teemasid nagu armunud tantsimas või Vespaga sõitmas ja muusikategelased. Seeläbi viitab ta massimeediale. Populaarust on kogunud tema valgusskulptuurid. Prantsuse kõrgmoebränd Dior tegi Lodolaga koostööd ning üle maailma asuvad 400 butiiki said just kunstniku valgusskulptuuridega kaunistatud aknad. Antud teostel on kujutatud The Doorsi lauljat Jim Morrisoni ning ka The Beatles ja David Bowie on tema teostel figureerinud.
