Kaspar Jancis

Kaspar Jancis is the author, artist, composer and stage designer of several animated films with international distribution, and he has also designed some light scooters. The common denominator of the multifaceted creator’s work is the game. The work is the audience’s playground. The author considers himself the creator of playgrounds. The author has discovered for himself that at a deeper level of thinking, ideas are very similar, regardless of how they take shape in reality. The Piip electric scooter is a game of shape on the one hand, but also a vehicle with practical value. The idea came to Kaspar while he was smoking a pipe – what would happen if the pipe had wheels? The games of form and function, context and proportions are part of the Surrealists’ world of thought. The roots of the idea of a pipe lie in the thinking of Rene Magritte, Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray and many later creators. At the same time, Piip is a completely practical light scooter, with a spacious trunk and streamlined design.

Kaspar Jancis on mitmete rahvusvahelise leviga animafilmide autor, kunstnik, helilooja, ning lavastuskunstnik, lisaks on ta disaininud mõned kergliikurid. Mitmetahulise looja loomingu ühisnimetaja on mäng. Teos on publikumi mänguväljak.
