Funky's artwork is from the 3. Buy Young Art Auction in 2022. Its commentary is: Half is gone and half remains. Semiotics, or the science of signs, allows to place the given work in different contexts. Firstly, only the hammer remains from the hammer and sickle symbols of the Soviet Union. Secondly, the message on the work: In an unavoidable situation, break the glass with a hammer, has the effect of information on buses that directs passengers to exit by breaking the window in case of danger. Since it is an image behind glass, it is of no use in a difficult situation. Pop art can be very ironic, making fun of itself.
Funky teos on pärit 3. Osta noort kunsti oksjonilt 2022. aastal. Selle kommentaariks on: “Pool on läinud ja pool on alles”. Semiootika ehk märgiteadus lubab antud teost asetada erinevatesse kontekstidesse. Esiteks, Nõukogude Liidu sümboolikast sirp ja vasar on alles vaid vasar. Teiseks, teosel olev sõnum: “Väljapääsmatus olukorras purusta klaas haamriga” mõjub justkui bussides olev info, mis suunab reisijaid ohu korral akent purustades väljuma. Kuivõrd tegemist on kujutisega, mis asub klaasi taga, siis ei ole sellest keerulises olukorras mingit kasu. Popkunst võib olla väga irooniline, seejuures enda üle nalja tehes.
