Excel works

ENG EST

These artworks are created completely in the program Excel. They serve as a warning against overreliance on AI, data and rationality. In a world steered by ChatGPT, likes, and business KPIs we end up in funnel, increasingly out of touch with the outer world and our own humanity. To thrive in the future, we need to find a new balance, with new connections between the rational, number-driven side of life and the outside, natural world. An ordinary computer can run these Excel artworks. They were made fully using cutting edge AI assisted programming (vibe coding). The flowers you see in the artwork are based on the output of a custom AI (GAN) model trained on ten thousands of flower pictures. Once created in an art project by the artist for the organisation NVIDIA. The output of such a model can evolve indefinitely, endlessly morphing from flower to new flower. GAN models were the base for most creative AI art before the rise of current AI image and movie tools.
Kunstiteosed on loodud täielikult Exceli programmis. Need on hoiatuseks tehisintellekti, andmete ja ratsionaalsuse liigse usaldamise eest. Maailmas, mida juhivad ChatGPT ja äri KPI-d, satume lõpuks müügilehtrisse, kaotades üha enam sidet välismaailma ja omaenda inimlikkusega. Tulevikus edu saavutamiseks peame leidma uue tasakaalu, luues uusi seoseid elu ratsionaalse, numbripõhise poole ja välise loodusmaailma vahel. Tavaline arvuti suudab neid Exceli kunstiteoseid käivitada. Need on loodud täielikult tipptasemel tehisintellekti abil programmeerimise (vibe-kodeerimise) abil. Kunstiteostel nähtud lilled põhinevad kohandatud tehisintellekti (GAN) mudeli väljundil, mida on treenitud kümnete tuhandete lillepiltide peal. GAN-mudelid olid tehisintellektil põhineva kunsti aluseks enne praeguste tehisintellektil põhinevate pildi- ja filmitööriistade tulekut.
