Kustutuskoer London

Erik Teemägi (b 1971) has created a fire extinguisher dog that parodies the iconic balloon dog by Jeff Koons. The sculpture is made from fire extinguisher cylinders. The PoCo dog is named London, because while visiting museums in the city, the artist noticed that instead of red fire extinguishers, chrome ones were installed on the walls. Teemägi graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Estonian Academy of Arts in 1994 and worked for a quarter of a century as an art director at the advertising agency DDB Estonia. The artist has participated in numerous exhibitions (including exhibitions at the Estonian Museum of Contemporary Art, the Tartu Art Annual exhibitions, and the Spring Exhibitions at the Tallinn Art Hall), and his artworks can be found in private collections as well as in public space in northern Tallinn, in the Krulli quarter.
Erik Teemägi (s 1971) kustutuskoer parodeerib ikoonilist Jeff Koonsi õhupallikoera. Skulptuur on valmistatud pulberkustuti balloonidest. PoCo koera nimi on London, sest kunstnik avastas suurlinna muuseume külastades, et seal on seintel punaste kustutite asemel kroomitud tulekustutid. Teemägi on lõpetanud Eesti Kunstiakadeemia skulptuuri eriala 1994. aastal ning töötanud veerand sajandit kunstilise juhina reklaamiagentuuris DDB Estonia. Kunstnik on osalenud arvukatel näitustel (UKMi näitused, Tartu kunsti aastanäitused, Tallinna Kunstihoone Kevadnäitused jne) ja tema teoseid on erakogudes ning avalikus ruumis Põhja-Tallinnas Krulli kvartalis.
