Marko Mäetamm's artwork is part of the 2000 series The Chemistry of Me - Supernatural. It is a pseudo-scientific self-reflection with a certain amount of irony. The series was initiated in 1998, when the artist participated in a lithography symposium in Sweden. Although Mäetamm was unable to realize his original idea, he had the idea of taking a sketch he was not satisfied with and writing explanations below. The artist himself has compared it to a mineral resources map, with explanatory symbols underneath. When he returned from Sweden, Mäetamm had made the diagrams and tables his own and began to realize the ideas waiting on the shelf in a new way.
Marko Mäetamme teos kuulub 2000. aasta seeriasse “The Chemistry of Me - Supernatural”. Tegemist on pseudoteadusliku enesereflektsiooniga, kus on omajagu irooniat. Seeriani viis 1998. aasta, mil kunstnik osales Rootsis litograafia sümpoosionil. Kuigi Mäetamm ei saanud oma algset ideed teostada, tuli talle mõte võtta kavand, millega ta rahul ei olnud ning sinna alla kirjutada seletused. Autor ise on seda võrrelnud maavarade kaardiga, kus all on selgitavad tingmärgid. Rootsist naastes oli Mäetamm skeemid ja tabelid enda omaks teinud ning asus teostama riiulis ootavaid ideesid uuel moel.
