Description
One artwork, hundred fairy tales invites students to discover how many different stories can be born from one artwork. We recall the characteristics of fairy tales, create a new fairy tale together, practice telling stories using picture and word cards and make our own little book of fairy tales.
Objectives
The student:
- knows the main features of fairy tales;
- uses pictures as a starting point for telling stories and fairy tales;
- tells a partner a short story based on the artworks and using sentence models;
- practices talking about the time in relation to the clock and calendar;
- makes a small book of fairy tales.
Before and after
Before the museum lesson, you can map the read fairy tales and popular characters with the students. In addition, it is worth discussing the lessons of fairy tales.
After the museum lesson, it’s good to continue using sentence models to tell short stories.
