Javier Guerra Fernández (b 1969) aka Javier Guerra de Cuba is a Cuban artist. In his artwork he has painted directly on the money, which is illegal in many countries. Even though many people might think that the money belongs to them and they can do whatever they like with it, actually money belongs to a country's system. For example, in the States defacing the money is illegal and if one does so purposely, they can get a fine of imprisonment for up to 6 months. Current artwork became the reason why the artist had to leave the country and he thought this was the best thing that ever happened to him.
Javier Guerra Fernández (b 1969) tuntud ka kui Javier Guerra de Cuba on Kuuba kunstnik. Oma teoses on ta maalinud otse rahatähtedele, mis on paljudes riikides illegaalne. Kuigi inimesed võivad mõelda, et kuna raha kuulub neile, siis nad võivad sellega mida tahes ette võtta, kuid tegelikult kuulub raha ühe riigi süsteemi. Näiteks Ameerikas on raha moonutamine seadusevastane ning raha tahtlikul kasutuks muutmisel võib oodata rahatrahv või kuni 6 kuu pikkune vangistus. Käesolev kunstiteos sai ka aluseks, et Fernández pidi riigist lahkuma ning tema arvates oli see parim asi, mis temaga juhtuda sai.
