ENG EST

The series Dance of the Puppeteers explores the hidden power that today’s tech moguls wield over politics and culture. The powerful men are like sad ballerinas posing in abandoned, luxurious mansions. Although the characters shape the lives of the masses, the viewer sees them in the solitude that comes with power. The work is intended as a critique of those in power and those influenced by power. The former control the information that reaches humanity, while the latter are like puppets whose thinking and feelings depend on what the former offer. By looking at the contrast between graceful poses and the dark problems of isolation, the audience is invited to rethink their own relationships with power, fame and consumption.
Sari “Dance of the Puppeteers” uurib varjatud jõudu, mida tänapäeva tehnikamogulid kasutavad poliitika ja kultuuri üle.
