Description
Photo detectives is a museum lesson where we look at photos slowly and attentively like a detective. We explore how artists, photographers and fashion designers tell stories. We bring portrait photos to life with movement. We’ll play Bowie Bingo and create our own fantasy character.

Objectives
The student:
- examines photographs in depth and notices details;
- learns about the profession of artist, photographer and fashion designer;
- makes his own movement based on the photo;
- plays Bowie bingo and invents his own fantasy character.
Before and after
Before the museum lesson, one can study the portrait photos published in print media and analyze what stories the photos tell. One can also put themselves in the role of the person in the picture or the photographer and think about what pose and photo would be next.
After the museum lesson, one can continue with the theme of the fantasy character and draw him or dress up as him and take photos.
